My Review-

Who would have seen this coming, Matthew McConaughey in a movie that is good, and where he is a good actor, which does not normally happen for him. It took me a while to get to watch this movie, I did not want to watch it at first because it was McConaughey in the movie, then I decided to just to give it a chance and I think I made the right decision with by picking it. This was a good courtroom movie and you do not see many of those these days, more should be made that keeping wanting to know "who done it". I was also surprised to see Pillippe as the antagonist of the movie which you really do not normally see either, which I thought that he did a good job, to the point where I wanted to punch him in his smug face. I was sort of surprised on how many good actors were in this movie, one person that it was cool to see was Bryan Cranston since when he does drama's like this movie or where it can show that he is a really good actor it makes the movie even better, even though he was not in it that much. This movie did have wanting to know if the main character was gonna end up getting him at the end and if not the movie would have not been that good. For me I agree with the critic McConaughey carried this movie and he was really slick, he was able to get what he wanted just be being smooth and using the right words, and not taking no for an answer. I do not like a lot movies from McConaughey, but this one is a start since this got me to see if can do a good drama when he wants too. This movie had what it need to be good, suspense, good acting, thrilling moments and parts where we had to piece together what was going to happen next or how it happened. Whether you do not like Matthew McConaughey or not this movie should be watched, it may change your mind on how you see him as an actor. This maybe his best movie since A Time to Kill, where he also played a lawyer. This one that is streaming on netflix and should be given a chance by the rotten tomatoes rating it was pretty cool to see that it almost got the same rating from both the critics and the audience.
