My Review-

I have only seen a handful of hockey films, and this now this film is near the top next to "Miracle". This movie was well paced for being a hockey movie. Once it started the pace never really slowed down, only the scenes between Scott and Pill were slow paced because it need to be. I never really liked Sean-William Scott as an actor, most of the films he has been in he has annoyed me however in this one he was really likable. This movie did not have actor that you did not like the whole supporting cast helped the movie move a long well and made a contribution to it that made their roles memorable. One of the reasons why this movie was good, was because of the way the hockey scenes were filmed, at one point it was like they put a camera on the puck and you were able to follow it as they hit it on the ice. What this whole movie came down too were the fights during the hockey games which were some of my favorite parts because they were so violent and so well shot and it seemed like that is why the people went to go watch those games; for the blood, violence, and to see someone get their ass kicked. This is movie with a heart too it within and mainly between Scott and Pill, and Scott and Grodin. This movie was worth watching since it is very funny, and violent, well because it deals with hockey and mostly the fighting and the enjoyment that comes out of the fighting during the games. What really surprised me was that Jay Baruchel was one of the writers on this film, I liked how this showed that he can do more then act. I would like to see what else Jay Baruchel can write since he is a pretty good writer, even if his character was really annoying when he came on screen. I would like to own this movie, since it was really good only draw back was Baruchel's character I think he did not need to be so obnoxious and annoying. It was worth the watch and if you want to watch it's streaming on netflix and it is not too long and not too short it is just right. If you ever looking for a movie to watch, then check this out. Has memorable characters, some memorable scenes and all the characters can be well liked or have some of the best scenes, along with well shot hockey scenes and fights.
