My Review-
This a documentary that seems it was made by fans for the fans who have a love/hate relationship with George Lucas and his Star Wars films. When Star Wars first came out everyone fell in love with how it was made and what it looked liked, until he made some drastic changes in the re-release in 1997; one of them was having Greedo shoot first, this when the shit hit the fan. This is a documentary of how Lucas changed the lives of lot of people with Episode IV: A New Hope, then later on sort of betrayed his fans is how I took it after watching this documentary. We see how some fans have their own versions of Lucas' films and how they should be especially with Episode I, and how a lot of people were heartbroken about and their hatered for Jar Jar Binks and one of my favorite quotes from this documentary came from Simon Pegg when he said "Jar Jar Binks makes the Ewoks look like Shaft!" which his how people saw Jar Jar he was not necessary. I never knew that this many people had a love/hate relationship with Lucas and it was really interesting to hear their reasoning to why they do. Also what I found interesting is that Lucas at times contradicted himself through out his career on certain aspects on the preservation of certain films that made a cultural impact on society and one of them being Star Wars, and for some reason he changed a lot of it. This is worth the watch if you like the Star Wars films or just the original three too see what other people thing about them and so you can come to the conclusion your self if you have a love hate relationship with him.
