Directed By- Spencer Susser

Writer(s)- Spencer Susser, David Michrod

Starring- Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Rainn Wilson, Natalie Portman, Devin Brochu

Critics Review- "Happily, Hesher never lays things out too clearly. Just as you never know where he came from, it's hard to grasp where he's going, or even what he's doing in the moment. But you know he fits somewhere. And that's satisfaction enough."- Tom Long "Detroit News"

Rotten Tomatoes Rating- Critics- 54% Audience- 61%

Out of a possible 5 stars- 3 1/2 stars

My Review-

This movie is not what I expected it to be, in a good way. When I first saw the trailer's for this film I thought it would be a comedy/drama, but I was completely wrong. This film is a straight out drama with a few laughs here and there and they are all from Gordon-Levitt, who is actually the one that drives this movie, well since he is the title character in the movie he does more then he supposed to at times. The whole movie was kind of depressing until Levitt's character came on screen and changed everything for the people he was living with. He made them see things differently. What made this movie work, was that Joseph Gordon-Levitt was so unpredictable in it and at times very intimidating, Rainn Wilson was also very different in the movie he is not like his character in the office he is the exact opposite, depressed and will not do anything and there is a reason behind that, and I will not give it away. This movie is worth the watch based on Levitt and Wilson's performances along. I recommend that you watch this to form your own opinion on it.
