My Review-
I had known about the Civil Rights movement from what I learned in school and films I have seen in the past, but something about hearing it from the people who were there and archive footage helped me learn more about it and I felt worse about the topic than I ever did before, I knew people could be cruel, but that was just horrible. This movie was mostly told through music played by various musicians who sang songs that the interviewees talked about throughout the film. I really enjoyed this film because it was like a history lesson all over again but this time. This should be a movie everyone should see because it is a side of the civil rights movement that we have never seen before. I believe in my opinion the musicians did the songs that they sang justice and it was also interesting to see footage of Martin Luther King Jr, that I had never seen before and realized why I found that part of history interesting to learn at the time that I had learned it. I would write more but I decided to watch my movie really late today, and this should be seen to see how the documentary is and maybe see how I felt about it. So go and watch this documentary if you like learning about the past and a fan of documentaries.
