My Review-
Like the critic said this movie is bizarre, and it is I'm surprised they got away with some the scenes in the movie, seeing is how now a days some people MAY get offended well others will not. I mean I liked the movie, its the first movie its so bad its good that I have seen in awhile and I really enjoyed the bad acting and crazy characters in the movie. Since this movie was about someone ridding the world of horrible people, there were some pretty cool deaths in the film that were kind of cool to see or how they came up with that back when it was released. The character Melvin was well written, because even I hated him when I first saw him and after he became the Toxic Avenger I actually liked it him and enjoyed when his character would come on screen and be the hero ridding the town he lived in of all the bad people. One of my favorite characters was the girl who would eventually become his girlfriend who was in fact blind and did not know what he looked like which was good for him, because he looked hideous. If you like over the top movies, or movies so bad that they are good and have a cop who may be German for no apparent reason than this is the movie for you.
