My Review-
This one of the Eddie Murphy movies I have always wanted to watch, but never really got around to it until now, and I must say I liked it. It seems like most of Eddie Murphy's best movies were from when he was in the 80s and up until a couple movies the last couple of years. He was the best when he was the smartass fouled mouth characters such as he was with Axel Foley, and would try to talk his way out of trouble, we do not see much of that nowadays from him. I like this movie better than I did 48 HRS. it seems like he was able to do more with this movie since he was the main character and he was able to carry the movie almost all on his own. This movie also had a little more action and a better villain than some of the movies that Murphy did with movies like this one. He made his character extremely likeable and found that you liked from the first time he started talking at the start of the movie, now I have not seen the other two movies and I would liked to but by seeing their ratings on RottenTomatoes I am a little worried. I suggest if you are a Eddie Murphy fan or want to see any of his old work, start off with this movie because he was at this best when this was released. There were some parts I thought could have been funnier or some characters that could have been used a little more, but that's just me, you should see this movie to see how you like it for yourself.
