My Review-
This is possibly the most heartbreaking and horrifying documentary that I have ever watched. This documentary tells the story of former Priest Oliver O' Grady and how he openly admitted to molesting children and how the church tried to cover it up, and or just moved him to another church instead of getting help they just brushed it off as if it was nothing. Something like this makes me very angry, anything to do with child molestation gets me angry and the people that do that should get sent to prison or something worse should happen to them, but did that happen to O'Grady? no i did not he got to keep being a priest and kept molesting children. This documentary has footage from depositions dealing with O'Grady's case and how Mahony, and other clergy members could not answer questions dealing with O'Grady. There are also interviews with the victims and their families and how he ruined their lives forever, and in some cases lost their faith. It sickens me that the church would help conceal what he had done to children for almost 30 years and cared more about themselves instead of the children that he abused. Out of all this only one person chose to help them because he knew what the church was doing was wrong. Father Thomas Doyle chose to take their case and help them bring O'Grady to justice but along the way the church put up roadblocks from this happening. I would go on talking about the movie, but I HIGHLY suggest that this documentary be watched, it should be watched to see what happened to this victims and possibly others that haven't come forward during the almost 30 years that he did this, and the FACT that he is in Ireland right now roaming the streets free without anyone knowing what he had done, and that he is a monster for doing this to kids just sickens me, and people over should know what he did. this needs to be seen by everyone, even though it is very heartbreaking and horrifying that this happened. AND how he has that smirk on his face makes me so fucking mad, like he did not do anything wrong.
