My Review-
This movie had its moments, when it was really really funny, and other times where it just lagged and lagged where it was really boring. Danny McBride is a funny actor when he is doing dry humor, and seems like to me this is a calmer version of his character from Eastbound & Down. What made this movie funny for me was when it would show Frank train in his dojo or outside of it with some of the children in his class that in a way looked up to him, but he still treated them like shit. Other than that at times I was taken out of the movie during certain scenes, mainly the small ones with this wife I thought were not needed. Also when it showed his friend show up at the dojo and he was in it for all of 10 mins the movie could have done with out those scenes because it really did not move the movie forward in a way. Other than that the movie was quite enjoyable with its really funny moments where I could not stop laughing and then when that stopped I got a wee bit bored.
